The Victron Ekrano GX represents the next generation in the GX product family. It is Victron’s most powerful communication centre to date, equipped with a heavy-duty quad-core processor that manages all connected Victron components and third-party devices with complete ease. Featuring an integrated 7-inch waterproof touchscreen display, it serves as the central hub for managing marine, off-grid, backup, and Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
Integrated Waterproof Touchscreen
The built-in 7-inch LCD touchscreen display offers a crystal-clear, real-time overview of your system’s performance, allowing you to monitor the battery state of charge, power consumption, PV generation, generator status, and mains input instantly. It features a super-slim profile optimised for flush panel or blind-hole mounting, creating a clean dashboard finish. To prevent unauthorised adjustments, a recessed button on the back allows you to completely disable or enable the touch control interface.
Flexible Access and Automations
In addition to local monitoring via the built-in screen, the Ekrano GX offers instant accessibility through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal, a Multi-Functional Display (MFD) glass bridge, or the VictronConnect app via its integrated Wi-Fi access point. Advanced users can create complex automation flows and intelligent controls using Node-RED, expanding the system's customization capabilities.
Hi 1. Does the Victron Multiplus 2 have a built in online remote management system? 2. Can the Victron unit be used to power up appliances during the day while charging batteries and only use grid power when teh demand is higher than the PV generation?
Answer
Hi Vilven
1. No, it doesn't
2. Yes, it can when used together with other components such as a colour control to create an ESS (Energy Storage System)

Question
Can I replace the Axpert SOL-I-AX-5P inverter directly with this inverter without having to change any wiring or add any other hardware?
Answer
Hi Billy. It would depend on what you're using it for. If you have solar connected then definitely not.

Question
I know this is a stupid question With the : Victron Multiplus2 48/5000/70-100 4000w 16x335w solar panels 2 X Pylontech 3.5kw batteries can I run 2 X 12000btu aircons at night only And 7 X domestic fridge/freezers 24hrs a day
Answer
Hi Ivan It's not a stupid question, in fact it's a HUGELY complex one. The batteries in this scenario will store 6 units of electricity. Power draw on aircons require huge guesses as the compressors go on and off according to the climatic conditions. The only way to accurately know what the aircons will draw is to measure it. IF you guess at an average draw of 200W (for a 12000 BTU unit) this means that during the night (say 12 hours) you will need 200W x 2 units x 12 hours = 4.8kWh, leaving you 1.2kWh in the batteries for other use. A similar calculation can be done for the fridges, which again will vary widely in power consumption according to:
a) the state of repair of the fridge b) the power rating c) how often it is opened and closed d) how often warm food is introduced e) the ambient temperature around the fridge and f) the kind of mood its in (just joking about the last one)
Again the best thing to do is measure the consumption over a decent period of time. The gross production of the panels will also obviously change according to light conditions, location time of year etc. If you work on an average of 4.5 sun hours per day x 335W x 16 panel you will average around 24 Units of energy produced per day, 6 of which will be used to charge the batteries (actually more since the battery charging process is not 100% efficient. The short answer is you will need at at least another battery
