Our Quoting Process
To keep our prices as competitive as possible, we operate on very thin margins. Our business model is built around a streamlined, self-service approach. This focus allows us to offer the best possible pricing to the South African solar market.
Unfortunately, this means we cannot manually review tender documents or Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to produce quotes.
Simply select the products you need on our website and use the “Add to Quote” feature on the product pages. This generates an instant, accurate quote based on live stock levels.
Manual Quote Requests
If you are unable to use the online quoting tool, you may email a request to support@solar-shop.co.za. To ensure we can assist you, please note the following requirements:
- Be Specific: We cannot interpret vague requirements (e.g., "a 5kW inverter"). Please provide the exact brand and model name as listed on our site.
- In-Store Items Only: We only supply items currently listed on our website. We do not source external products or review general Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Well-Defined Lists: Manual quotes are only processed for clearly defined item lists and quantities.
Note: If you require technical design assistance or help matching specifications, we recommend consulting a full-service installer. Our model focuses exclusively on the efficient supply of the hardware listed in our store.
