The Solis S5-GC30K (S5 Series) is a premier grid-tied string inverter engineered specifically for the commercial and industrial sector. By utilizing a triple MPPT design, this inverter allows for greater flexibility in system design, effectively reducing string mismatch and maximizing harvesting efficiency on sites with multiple orientations. Its high DC input current of 16A per string makes it fully compatible with modern high-power large-format PV modules.
Safety is paramount in the S5 series. The Solis 30kW S5 includes integrated AFCI (Arc-Fault Circuit Interruption) to proactively reduce fire risks by detecting and shutting down hazardous arcs. Furthermore, it comes equipped with Type II surge protection for both DC and AC circuits, protecting your investment from atmospheric electrical disturbances. The fanless natural convection cooling (or intelligent redundant cooling depending on specific site conditions) and IP66 ingress protection ensure the unit operates reliably for its full 25-year design life.
Equipped with intelligent string monitoring and smart I-V curve scanning, the S5-GC30K simplifies O&M by allowing technicians to diagnose system issues remotely via the SolisCloud platform. This reduces on-site visits and ensures the system maintains peak performance throughout the year.
