Good Day. I currently have a Kodak OG10 inverter coupled with 2x Pylontech UP5000 batteries. Are the US3000D batteries compatible with my existing UP5000 batteries? I have been unable to locate any documentation supporting the compatibility. Your guidance and supporting documentation will set my mind at ease when purchasing. I wish to purchase 3 batteries to add to my existing setup. Regards, Neville

Yes, the Pylontech US3000D is compatible with your existing UP5000 batteries and Kodak OG10 inverter. Pylontech supports mixing their US and UP series in the same bank.
When adding the three new US3000D batteries, you must follow these installation rules:
Master Battery: The battery with the newest BMS must act as the Master. One of the new US3000D units must be the Master and connect directly to the inverter.
State of Charge (SoC): All batteries must be at the same voltage before linking. Charge your existing UP5000 bank to 100%, and individually charge the new US3000D batteries to 100% before connecting them in parallel.
Connection Order: It is recommended to mix the older and newer batteries in the daisy chain to balance the current. A standard sequence for your setup would be: US3000D (Master) -> UP5000 -> UP5000 -> US3000D -> US3000D.
