The Sunsynk Klik (SSKLIKACC01) is a battery communication interface that allows you to safely combine two different lithium-ion battery brands onto a single Sunsynk inverter. It aggregates differing BMS protocols into a unified CAN signal, preventing communication errors.
Inputs: Supports up to 2 different BMS protocols.
Requirement: Batteries must share the exact same DC voltage architecture (e.g., all 16S / 51.2V).
Compatibility: Most standard single-phase and three-phase Sunsynk hybrid inverters.
IMPORTANT
The products we sell must be installed by a qualified electrician/technician and must adhere to local wiring regulations and standards. We are not liable for any damages or warranty rejections as a result of incorrectly installed products or systems.
The Sunsynk Klik solves the software challenge of mixing different battery brands. It translates the CAN/RS485 signals from two incompatible batteries into a single CAN signal for your Sunsynk inverter. This allows you to expand an existing battery bank with a different brand, provided the physical hardware specifications align.
The Golden Rule: Matching Cell Counts
While the Klik handles the BMS communication, the heavy DC power cables from both batteries still terminate at the same physical DC busbar on the inverter. You can never mix different voltage architectures.
Safe to mix: Different capacities with the same cell count (e.g., a 16-cell 5kWh battery and a 16-cell 10kWh battery). The physics of the busbar will balance the load proportionally.
Unsafe to mix: A 15-cell (15S / 48V) battery with a 16-cell (16S / 51.2V) battery. The higher-voltage battery will dump high current into the lower-voltage battery, risking severe equipment damage and fire.
Technical Specifications
Ports: 3 x RJ45 ports (BATT 1, BATT 2, INVERTER). Uses standard straight-through network patch cables.
Power Supply: 12V DC, powered directly from the inverter's RS232/Wi-Fi port. No independent power supply is required.
Configuration: Built-in LCD screen for manual protocol selection.
Capacity Override: Manual Amp-hour (Ah) input is available for older batteries that do not broadcast their capacity via the BMS.
Inverter Compatibility
Compatible with most standard Sunsynk hybrid inverters (e.g., 5kW, 8kW single-phase; 12kW three-phase).
Note: This device is not compatible with the Sunsynk Acure Single-Phase (C1, C2), Acure Three-Phase (C3), or the Contour ranges.
