This cable facilitates plug-and-play synchronization across a wide array of Victron equipment. It is primarily utilized to interface peripheral power devices directly with centralized monitoring platforms such as the Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX, or Color Control GX. Supported hardware includes the complete family of BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT solar charge controllers, BMV-700 and BMV-702 series battery monitors, and Phoenix pure sine wave inverters equipped with a dedicated VE.Direct port.
To accommodate diverse physical layouts—ranging from space-restricted mobile canopy setups to clean, structured domestic plant rooms—the cable is engineered with two distinct terminal profiles. The classic straight connector model offers a clean inline run for open distribution boards, while the 90-degree right-angle plug variant minimizes structural protrusion. The right-angle format is highly recommended when connecting data feeds to the rear of flush-mounted GX touchscreen displays or within shallow electrical enclosures where cable bend radii are tightly restricted.
Built to withstand demanding operating environments, the cable features robust, shielded internal wiring that actively isolates the data signal from ambient electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by surrounding high-current DC or AC power lines.
