Reliable Backup Power with Advanced Lithium-Ion Batteries

Lithium-ion batteries offer significant benefits over traditional lead-acid options. They can be cycled many more times and allow for deeper discharges without sacrificing longevity—ensuring a more efficient and durable energy storage solution.

Our system stores approximately 5 units (5 kWh) of electricity. To help you visualize this capacity:

  • 200W Television: Enjoy continuous power for about 25 hours (200W × 25 hours = 5000 Wh).
  • LED Lighting: Power 40 LED lights at 5W each for around 25 hours (40 × 5W × 25 hours = 5000 Wh).
  • 1500W Kettle: Operate for roughly 3.3 hours (1500W × 3.3 hours ≈ 5000 Wh).
    (While boiling water for 3.3 hours might not be practical, it demonstrates the system's capacity!)

During a power failure, the system automatically switches from grid to battery power—and reverts back when grid power returns, recharging the batteries seamlessly. This is especially valuable in South Africa, where reliable power can be a challenge.

In addition to performance, lithium-ion systems require minimal maintenance and are designed with longevity in mind, making them an excellent investment for both residential and commercial applications.
