The Sollatek Automatic Voltage Switcher is built to protect inverters from harmful grid fluctuations. Using a microprocessor, the AVS 30 micro protects your inverter from harmful grid conditions such as over voltage, under voltage and even power-back surges that are very common with load shedding.

The AVS 30 micro has a 30A pass through rating, making it perfect for <5kVA single phase inverters. The five voltage indicators will indicate if the grid is withing the acceptable values that have been selected.

TIMESAVE™ function checks the duration of OFF time from the mains. If the mains have been off for more than 3 minutes, then it will reconnect the mains withing 30 seconds instead of the standard 3 minutes. This means your batteries will start charging almost immediately while ensuring your system is still protected.

The AVS 30 micro provides the following protection:

  • High voltage - High voltages from the grid can damage internal components
  • Low voltage - Under voltages from the grid could damage internal components by not providing the components with sufficient voltage
  • Class III voltage spikes/surges - Small voltage spikes experienced when there is faults on the grid lines
  • Power-back surges - High power surges when grid comes back online, such as after loadshedding

Please note: A contactor of appropriate size vs inverter is required for this device if the inverter uses more than 30A. The contactor must by 230V and not exceed 30A operating current.
