Key battery parameters setting:
Good Morning
I intend to use the US2000 series battery in conjunction with my Victron Quatro 24v inverter.
Do I need to use a GX devise , or can I configure the battery and inverter manually.
Hi Paul. Yes, you can use this battery without a GX device.
You would need to set the charger parameters on the Quattro to those required by Pylontech for this battery.
In order to do this, you would need the Victron Connect software and some kind of interface between the Quattro and your laptop or phone.
This could be a VE.Bus to USB cable or a Bluetooth Smart dongle
P.S. We are assuming your mention of the US2000C in the text is a typo. The US2000C is a 48V battery.
Also, please note that the UP2500 is a 0.5C battery. More on this HERE
hi. i have a 3kw mecer inverter (SOL-I-AX-3M-24). will this battery work with the inverter? do i need to still buy the cable pack?
Hi Bradley, yes it will. You will need the cable pack, yes.
Also, bear in mind the batteries C rating in terms of the power output you require from the inverter:

hello. how many hours of backup time if my total load is 500watt. with Pylontech UP2500 2.84kWh Li-Ion Solar Battery 24V and 3kva 24v axpert inverter thanks
Hi Victor. Around 5 hours. 500W x 5 hours = 2.5 kWh. Battery capacity is 2.84 kWh.
Hi, can this battery function with a synapse 3kva, i would do the settings manually and not use COM, is that possible?
Hi Zama, yes you can use this battery with that inverter using manual settings.
I have an Axpert 2kVA with 24V input. Currently with 2 x 12V 105ah Deep cycle lead acid in series. Does this inverter have a charge program for LiIon ? Will it work with this Pylontech battery.
Hi Barry, yes you could use a Pylontech UP2500 with this inverter. It would operate manually however. No BMS communciations.
Can this battery work with Kool energy VM 2.2kw inverter?.
Hi Godfrey, no it cannot.
May I use this battery on rct Vm111 axpert voltronic
Hi Maxwell, no this battery is a 24V battery. You will need to use a 48V battery with this inverter, such as the US2000C:

What is the C-Rating of this battery (Pylontech UP2500 2.84kWh Li-Ion Solar Battery 24V) I don't find it in the data sheet
Hi Steve, it is 0.5C. For more info:

Can the battery's mounted in vertical position to save space or must it be mounted horizontal
Hi Kobus, you can mount it vertically if required.
Good Day I have a Growatt 24v off grid inverter with 8 x 12v 105 ah battery's connected in series/parallel.How many of these batteries do I need for the same capacity
Hi, assuming the recommended DOD on the lead acid batteries of 50% you will need 2 batteries to equal the storage capacity. However, since the Pylonss are 0.5C batteries, 2 batteries will give you a max power output under battery power alone of 2.8kW
Which 24 V inverters does this battery have BMS integration with, I have the Synapse 3 KVa and want to know if there is compatibility
Hi Irshad, it does not have BMS integration with the Synapse. It will work with the Kodak VMIII 3kW
Hey Say I buy one of these and later want to upgrade to a 48v system would i be ale to use 2 of them to go up to 48v or would there be some issue with the bms
Hi Riaan, no the Pylontechs can only be paralleled, so you're stuck with the same voltage batteries going forward.
