The Synapse 5.0+ is equipped with an MPPT solar charge controller to maximize and regulate DC power from the solar array for charging the battery bank. Transformerless design provides reliable power conversion in compact size. The pure sine wave output enables easy start ups for motor-type loads such as refrigerators, motors, pumps, compressors and laser printers as well as electronic loads like TVs, Computers, power tool and battery chargers.
12-month manufacturers carry in warranty.

I'm currently running the Synapse 5.0+ inverter with 8kv lithium ion battery and 10 Canadian 330W panels. 5 in parallal and 5 in series. Can I improve by adding additional panels. Your suggestion would be highly appreciated. All 10 panels are fitted in line getting full sun exposure from 8am to 5pm. Kind Regards Johan
Hi Johan, yes you could add another 4 panels or so if you choose to. Whether this will help you or not will be down to your ability to utilise the additional production, either in realtime on the load output or charging the battery.

can this inverter take a pv array of 4.9kw? voltage and amps within range
Hi Fanny, yes you can easily have an array of that size without damaging the inverter,
However it will clip the peak power production at 4,000W and never give you more than that.
Over-sizing the array like this is standard practice in the solar industry as thsi helps "bring up the sides" of the solar power rpoduction curve

Hello Is this inverter able to receive two string inputs from panel strings on different parts of the roof (North and West facing)? Thanks
Hi Mark. This inverter only has one MPPT. Therefore all panels should be as near as possible to each other and facing in the same direction in order to maximise production.
If you have North and West facing panels on a single string you will pull the array down to match the lowest performing panels

Should my inverter turn off at any time or does it run all day and night?
Hi Annette, it will run as long as there is a power source (be it solar, batteries or electricity) to power it.

How accurate is the Synapse monitor ie % battery charge?
Hi Carl. Not very. It's like most other Voltronics inverters in that it estimates battery charge based on the voltage of the battery, which is not the best way to do it, but is a widely adopted method in cheaper inverters.
