    Questions

    Question

Just need to know this inverter is OK to be used for loadshedding, switching between line mode and back-up power mode.

    Answer

Hi Gert, yes, no problem. Switching time is 20ms or less.

    Question

Which is the better inverter: the 10kW Kodak or the 8kW Mercer 2 Max? Why is the Kodak more expensive when it has no touch screen?

    Answer

Hi David. They are the same machine, just different branding (and obviously the Kodak is 10kW compared to the Mecer which is 8kW)

Neither has a touch screen, just a small touch sensitive button. The Kodak is more expensive because it has a higher power rating.
