    This solar can also run stove, lights and TV same time Answer:
    Hi Sifiso. A solar panel on it's own won't run anything. You also need a charge controller to allow the panel to charge batteries and an inverter if you want to run ac powered appliances. Regards Solar Shop Support

    Hi, just a couple of questions before I order: What is the maximum number of the 330W panels that can be connected to a Mecer 5kW-48V Off-Grid inverter II inverter? What will be the best configuration : number of strings / number of panels per string taking into consideration the MPPT Range of 120VDC~430VDC for the inverter. Can it be one string of 10? How many MC4 connectors/ MC4 joints are required? 1 per panel? What mounting kit do I require for a tile roof? (The panels will be mounted in one long row - 2m side vertical) Thanks Answer:
    Hi Willem, 1) we would think 16 panels would be ideal 2) 2 x 8 panels in series. 3) 1 pack of MC4 connectors pairs and 1 pack of combiners will be correct for 2 strings of 8. You will need 8 x 4200mm rails, 4 end clamps, 30 middle clamps, 4 rail connectors and 28 roof hooks.

    Hi Godfrey. A solar panel does not produce usable household electricity. It must be used in conjunction with an inverter (and usually batteries as well), in order to produce a solution. Please check out our DIY kits for more info.
